Audio missing and game issue.

So, a few hours ago my audio disappeared. I tried reinstalling the drivers, troubleshooting it, and still nothing. When I plug in my headset at an angle, there is a slight cracking noise coming out of the drivers in the headset meaning that the headset's audio works. Also, a weird thing happened to me recently, right before the audio went out. So, Minecraft now has a new launcher, and when I turned on my laptop (Lenovo Ideapad flex 14) after an update (The windows cumulative update preview for windows 10 version 21h2 for 64-based systems KB5007253) I had it pinned on my taskbar, and it became invisible. But when I clicked on it, it redirected me to the "gaming services" in the Microsoft store. I installed it and then after a few minutes, it appeared back again and I was like "alright that was easy" but after that, I was in the car going home so I turned off my laptop and when I turned it back on the Minecraft button was invisible again but after a few minutes, it came back... strange (It happens every time that I launch my laptop again). Maybe this is a part of the issue. Now, back to the sound part; when I turn on my laptop and watch a youtube video/anything sound-related it only works for a short period of time. After that, it pauses (but the grey loading bar is still way ahead of the red progress bar) and says this: "audio renderer error please restart the computer". Can anyone help me out and have a nice day! Also, I am not sure that I put this post in the right category...

I missed one thing: in addition to reducing game audio, I also reduced chat audio. Issue persists.

Finally fixed :/ I have an AMD laptop, and it was a Radeon software update that broke it... I. Reinstalled it and did not update it to the 20.12 version and just kept it on the 20.10 version and that solved the issue...

Thank you for the reply. No it's not with a specific game it's with every game even Forza 5. Any game I record the only issue is that the audio is missing.

Hey there P0ub,

Sorry to hear you're having a similar issue.

As Misses Joust said, some games support multiple languages through subtitles and menu options but not through audio track.

this does not solve the issue, with my controller plugged in its still requires interaction every 14 minutes or it shuts off. its impossible to be totally immersed in a game and also need to keep track of when your mic is gonna cut out, and take your hand
of the keyboard or mouse to jostle the controller and if you miss the time then my controller shuts off and i loose all audio and have to turn the controller back on and it takes a few seconds to re- connect to the chat and game audio, meanwhile ive died or
and playing def, and missing important audio queues.
