    Audio issues Xbox (Beta) app for PC


    I was trying to use my Arctis 7 headset(Wireless) and my friend(XBOX) was not able to hear me(PC). I tried disabling all other sound input devices to see if that would work to no avail. However when i switched the audio input to my studio mic(USB) it was
    working fine so i used that for our gaming session however after i got that working i couldn't get push to talk working AT ALL. Even when i could get it to bind to a key it would not work so i had to have a open mic the hole time and felt bad for my friend
    because of background noise. I tried running the Xbox app and Game bar as Admin because if my discord glitches that usually fixes it and that didn't work.

    Anyone else having issues similar to this with the Xbox (beta) App on PC and have any fixes or alternatives for cross platform chat?

    (Side Note)The app is in need of some love too. I know the Devs are probably working on it but the app needs things like a button to test your mic so you can hear how loud your mic is and social functions should be easier to access(cant leave a party without
    ALT-Tabing into the Xbox app directly to leave instead of the gamebar overlay.)

    There are a lot of stuff that Xbox directly needs to fix that are out of our control, xbox needs to satnd up for us because we are indeed loyal to them. But anyway try looking for fix it videos on youtube to resolve your situation it have xbox ambassadors
    videos on youtube than can help you out.

    Hi There,

    Have you checked your audio settings in the Xbox Game Pass Beta PC app? If you click on your profile image in the top right > Settings > Audio. I had an issue before where somehow the voice volume in the app was all the way down. Perhaps check that as well
    as that the correct devices are assigned within the app.

    Which beta app are you having issue downloading? The Xbox Console Companion App (Beta) or the Xbox Game Pass for PC app (Beta)? You'll need to have he beta companion app downloaded first before you can download the PC game pass app (beta) and you will also
    need to have Windows update version 1903.

    Restart your PC and then make sure you have the requirements to download the PC game pass app.

    If your still experiencing this issue please report this issue via Xbox App Beta using the "report a problem" so we may request and investigation. You can DL the beta app by going to the store on your PC and searching "Xbox App Beta".
