    Audio issues with OS preview Alpha (2208.220525-2200)


    OS version XBFLT2208NI\22621.1556.220525-2200 May 27-28 release.

    After update Xbox wireless headset began to emit a loud crackling sound when being used with the xbox on 5/29/22.. bluetooth would work fine paired with other devices. Console audio channels for the Xbox paired to the headset would crackle and diminish audio depending on app and even video being played which was odd. First experienced it watching episode 7 of stranger things in the Netflix app on Xbox.

    Powered console on 5/30/22 audible crackling was heard on boot up to main menu which was same sounds heard while wireless headset was being used. This came from the TV speakers. Issue persisted with navigation to other apps on console even to games. Restarted console multiple times issue persisted any help would be appreciated. Console does not give option to report issue. Ive tried in several apps and current game nothing when holding down guide button, option does not present. Just shows turn off concole, controller and restart no report a problem.

    This was a known issue with consoles enrolled in the Alpha Skip Ahead Insider preview.

    Is your console enrolled in a Insider preview? If so, download the latest OS update.

    Check Xbox Insider Forum on Reddit. This forum is for General release OS.

    Edit.. As of 22nd July "new" Edge is available to Alpha, Beta, Delta Insider previews so it is getting closer to a General release.
