Audio issue with xbox controller

Update: Wireless controller had no audio issues.

Addition: Now audio issues have mysteriously vanished while using Wired controller, will restart Xbox to test something.

Update: Audio Issues did not return after restart, will do a power cycle to test further.

On the Accessories app when I select Audio the levels have been altered. As i said to get decent audio from my headphones i need to have the controller audio and in game controller audio set to 100%. This suggests either an issue with the headphones [where
there was none before with regular xbox one controllers] or something with how the elite 2 handles audio. Can it be anything else?

Hello are do your controllers have the built in audio jack or are you using an audio adapter to plug your headsets into the controllers? If it is the same audio adapter used on both controllers that might be the issue.

Hi blueamcat, thank you for your answer, I saw on Xbox support page they said that I should be able to have audio on both controllers, is this because im not using official headphone from Microsoft? So now the solution will be either I use a splitter or
I get a speaker.
