Audio dips during backwards compatible games.

Good day, i got an Xbox Series X at the start of the year and have been a good experience overall.

However, i noticed that when i play Xbox 360 games with the backwards compatibility, the audio have occasional audio dips, kinda like an audio lag.

Honestly, it's not that big of a problem since the games still play just fine but certainly takes a bit of the imersion and fun when you want to enjoy the game soundtrack or a cutscene.

Lastly, i tried a lot of things to try to solve it, i deleted and reinstalled the games, tried different Xbox 360 titles, changed audio and video settings, removed and reinstalled my xbox 360 account, and even restored the Xbox to factory reset, all without results.

I would like to hear if anyone have some light over this problem.

I realize you're experiencing audio issues playing Xbox 360 games on Xbox Series X, and I understand how you feel.

For the audio issues you are experiencing, please make sure your current Xbox device is up to date. Sometimes these updates contain performance improvements and bug fixes:

After making sure your console is connected to the Internet, press the Xbox button to open the navigation page. Select "Profile and System" > "Settings" > "System" > "Update". Under "Update", if you see "Console Update Available", it means that your Xbox device is not up to date. You can choose to start the update here. If it shows "No console update available", it means that your console is up to date.

So man i think you got it wrong i mean't that my mic was trasmiting very low audio when i entered in backwards compatible games from my xbox one and my friend audio doesn't even work at all when we are playing backwards compatible games from our xbox one

Original Xbox games will start to become backwards compatible based on the announcements during E3 not sure which games will be firest

Thank you for posting on the Xbox forums!

Unfortunately Burnout 3 is not backwards compatible on the Xbox One. Only Burnout Paradise and Burnout Revenge is backwards compatible. Microsoft also announced during E3 that there will be no more games released on the Xbox One backwards compatible
list to focus on backwards compatibility for the upcoming Project Scarlett console. So Burnout 3 will not come out as a backwards compatible title on the Xbox One I'm sorry to say.

In the case of the Need for Speed series, you will have to ask Electronic Arts to allow Microsoft to make it Backwards compatible.

Be aware however, that the Backwards Compatibility Team has been moved to work on making all Xbox One games working on the upcoming new Xbox console (codenamed Project Scarlett). So currently no new Backwards compatibility games will be released until the
launch of the new console during Holidays 2020.
