    Audio device/hub knowledge

Get off work 2am. On xbox waiting for home to wake/clear. Play super grindy games BDO, all things ubisoft. Like to watch movies/motorhead vids while grinding. Pulled this off on pc, duel monitors, headphones.

Since swapping to xbox & recliner. Controller earbud R ear. L ear earbud from tablet/laptop

Gotz to be way/device to pipe both these sounds to headphones via wired/wireless. My Lingo on google for such a device or way to. Coming up empty

    :)

What's is your ONE issue with your ONE console that you wish could Microsoft fix / improve ?

For me make it a full media hub with decent codec support, I want it to access my WD 4TB MyCloud & stream whatever I want from it or any other networked Video/Audio device in my house to a room with an Xbox One in.

I can pick up cheap boxes to do this but I want my new all in one Xbox One media hub/games machine to do this as standard, without having to push it from another device first.

How to connect usb microphones let's sing to xbox x series

Hello, JessicaB87 my name is Oskayra I am independent advisor and I will be happy to help you today.

The Xbox Series X does have only one USB port on the front, which can be limiting when connecting multiple USB devices. However, there are a couple of ways to connect two USB microphones for Let's Sing 2023 on your Xbox Series X.

    Option 1: USB Hub

The most straightforward solution is to use a USB hub. A USB hub is a device that allows you to connect multiple USB devices to a single USB port. You can connect the two USB microphones to the USB hub, and then plug the USB hub into the Xbox Series X's front USB port.

    Option 2: USB Adapter

If you don't have a USB hub, you can use a USB adapter. A USB adapter is a device that allows you to connect a USB device to a different type of port, such as an audio jack or a microphone jack. You can connect one of the USB microphones to the Xbox Series X's controller using an adapter, and then connect the other microphone to the front USB port.

    Which option is better?

The better option for you will depend on your specific needs and preferences. A USB hub is the more versatile option, as it will allow you to connect more USB devices in the future. However, a USB adapter is a more affordable option, and it will be smaller and more portable.

I hope this helps! Don't hesitate to ask if you have any further questions or need additional clarification.

why when i connect my new wired gaming headsets it doesnt add the device or add the name, it automatically goes to "Speaker/Headphone" instead of "Turtle Beach Headset"

WIN 10 - Xbox One wired controller

You can check the power requirement for devices within device manager. First locate the controller in device manager. Select it then go to View->Devices by Connection. You should now be able to see the tree relationship for the device and it's parent should
be either a USB Root Controller or a "Generic USB Hub" or some such device. If you right click that node, then select Properties, you should see a Power tab (there will also be a Power Management but we want Power specifically). On that tab you should see
all the device attached to the hub, and the power required for each of them. Since the legacy drivers don't support audio, my guess would be that the power requirement is lower hence the driver "works".

I believe a minimum of 500mA is required for the normal inbox driver to work, so in a nutshell you need to fix the number of devices sharing power on your USB hub/controller. Remember that different USB devices have different power requirements, and it is
not necessary that all can be serviced equally if the load on the line is too high. This is related but not completely determined by your power options of the PC as a whole. For instance even if you have high power for you entire PC selected, there may still
be not enough power on the hub/controller to power your specific device if there isn't enough to go around.
