Audio Bug (No sound for games only dashboard) fix!!

I have been having this problem lately. The center channel cuts out or becomes fuzzy/staticy. Only happens on the Xbox One and only on apps/blu-ray. Doesn't seem to happen with games. What the hell is the problem? I'm reading that the X1 doesn't pass-through
audio properly due to it mixing that audio with dashboard sounds and things. I don't care about the *** dashboard sounds, I care about being able to hear dialog on a show or movie...

It sounds like you're specifying a bug with the audio sound. There should be an update since several people are addressing this issue. Have fun and keep gaming on

I spent a very long time with support but they finally fixed the issue for me. I don't know if you still need help to fix it, but if you do here it is.

Go to SETTINGS->TV & ONE GUIDE->AUDIO & VIDEO. The far right tab is AUDIO. Set that to SURROUND SOUND. It will make you restart your console, but for me that fixed my problem of only getting dashboard audio but no game audio. Here is the exact instructions

These are the steps to follow: Press the Xbox button to open the guide. > Select System > Settings. > Select TV & OneGuide. > Select Audio & video. > Change the audio option from Stereo to Surround sound. > Select Restart now. Your console will restart and
enable surround sound from your console to your TV or A/V receiver.

Try "sound/audio"set ups through the dashboard or options within the game. That may effect it, not sure.
