    Audio and video problems on start-up


    On start-up, video will initially be black and no audio. Xbox will cycle TV off and on, video will then be a jumble of vertical lines: purple, green, black. Audio will be "screaming" ungodly loud and a high pitched whine. Xbox will
    cycle TV off and on again and the same thing usually happens a second time. Sometimes you can make out the Xbox home screen through the vertical lines. Eventually it will cycle off and on another time or two and the picture and audio will eventually come in
    fine and it continue to work until you turn off the Xbox. When you come back to use it the next time, the lines and screaming process starts all over again. I've tried different HDMI cables and different HDMI ports on the TV. Makes no difference. What's going
    on?
