    Attention for those with TCL TV's that encountered problems: there's a system update for...


    If you, like me, have a TCL TV and have encountered an issue that caused brief but annoying loss of image and sound. (typically a white flash and loss of sound, followed by black screen, followed by back to normal in the span of 1-3 seconds) There was a TCL system update in the last 24 hours or so. Some other support groups I'm in elsewhere have reported that this update appears to fix the issue. It's not entirely 100%, as some still seem to have issues after, but so far as I can see, it at minimum seems to reduce frequency by a lot. Happy updating!

    Xbox 360 worked fine last night, but now my TV says, "No input signal"

    I have the same issue. Xbox one won't recognize signal from HDMI on TCL tv. Works on different another tv but won't work on TCL and red lines on my vizio. Tried settings. Different HDMI cables. Just will no longer work on TCL..called TCL they said it's
    an Xbox issue. Xbox says TCL issue.. Frustrated!!!

    I have the same problem. It looks like there aren't any remote codes yet for the TCL Roku TV's. They use a special Roku remote that has an ON - OFF button unlike normal Roku remotes.

    Hopefully we will get an update soon that includes a new remote code for these.

    I have a 55FS4610R and all of the codes that the XBOX has for TCL do not work.

    XB1 doesn't like my Sony tv, what a suprise !

    A new TV likely wouldn't solve your problem. There are a lot of problems being encountered by those attempting to run the XB1 in a 50Hz system. Someone has managed to 'fake out' the XB1 so it puts out 50Hz but a lot of other problems crop up.

    Hey, sorry to hear that maybe the Tv is the problem. I just purchased a TCL 50" and mine connected instantly. I suggest try resetting the tv or updating it and trying all the HDMI ports again. If that doesn't work try returning the TV or contacting Philips
    and see if they know what the real issue is. Hopefully this helped, have a great day.

    Is your TV a smart TV? If so, then it might need a firmware update. Sometimes a firmware update can solve issues like this. Contacting TCL might help, and they might know how to fix it.
