Atmos trouble on Xbox x

Hi

I have Xbox X series and Denon avr with Atmos capable speakers.

When I change audio settings in Xbox X to Dolby Atmos all of the audio is not working (games, movies, all the menu clicks etc) BUT when I go to dolby Atmos app videos there are working and giving the Atmos audio!

Is there a way to make whole audio work on Atmos setting?

3. Update your firmware: Check if there are any firmware updates available for your Denon AVR. If there are, update your firmware to the latest version.

4. Reset your Xbox X series: If none of the above steps work, try resetting your Xbox X series to its default settings. To do this, go to Settings > System > Console info > Reset console > Reset and remove everything.

Hi

Everything checked and I was left with resetting the console which I did.

Everything is the same so while I change in Xbox settings to Atmos audio I'm not getting any sound from menu or for example from diablo 4.

Atmos sound is working only in demo videos in Dolby app.

Please help....

I have the same problem on Xbox X and XBox One. I’m using the Denon AVR-X 2700H 7.2 channel Dolby Atmos receiver with the XBox X, and the Yamaha RXV-6A 7.2 channel Dolby Atmos receiver with the Xbox One. Both receivers were working normally outputting Atmos on Netflix until November 2022. Disney+ and Amazon Prime play Atmos content on both devices without issue, hence indicating that the problem is not with the 4K TV and 4K projector, nor receivers.

Sorry about that issue, you have to contact Dolby itself about your trouble, explain everything and explain also how you set the dolby atmos app on your xbox one x > https://www.dolby.com/about/support/

*maybe* this "problem" is exactly how the Dolby Atmos App on Xbox One X works.

Dolby Atmos native content? perfect! Dolby Atmos playback.

No Dolby Atmos? the App upmix current audio track to Dolby Atmos (the headphones features works in this way).

I don't know if is intentional.
