Atmos still broken after Dec 7th update

Following the December 7th 2017 update, Atmos is still dropping audio for about a second every two minutes when using Home/OneGuide/TV/Netflix/Hulu and eventually audio drops out completely. AVR is a Yamaha TSR-5830.

Dolby Atmos broke after Dec 7 system update

Well, this morning I popped in a UHD movie with dolby atmos. For some reason, that kicked atmos into gear and it is now working for all apps, games, and movies that support it. If it happens again, I guess I'll just pop in a UHD movie and jumpstart it.
I don't understand why this happened and why a disc with atmos got it to work again. Any insight into this issue would be greatly appreciated.

Dolby Atmos broke after Dec 7 system update

I bought the 1X in November along with a samsung hw-k850 soundbar with Atmos support. Everything worked great, atmos worked great. Now all of a sudden, during the Christmas holiday, atmos no longer works. The firmware of the soundbar is up to date, the
1X is up to date. I noticed there was a system update for the 1X on Dec 7 that fixed problems with atmos. It seems to have broken mine. I've tried reinstalling the Dolby Atmos app, that made things worse. Now the audio settings of the xbox automatically
revert to stereo uncompressed as soon as I exit the settings screen. Can anyone help?

I've been experiencing issues too but mostly with in game sound. I had the dolby apps installed before removing them ( this doesn't uninstall the decoder or profile as far as I know ) I've been trying to troubleshoot this for days and support hasn't come
up with a solution either. I read that people have been told to turn off 4k to see if that solves the issue. Does that or a reset fix it for you? Also, they are aware of audio issues and hopefully us non insiders will get a patch soon.

And its June, and there is no solution. Atmos is still broken. Bluetooth is still broken. Trash PC headset honestly until this gets fixed.

^^^ I never used the MSMC prior to the update. I equipped it last night and didn't care for it at all. The PDW doesn't feel like it's changed at all.

Over the weekend I also unlocked the select fire for the M8A1. Surely that's the next weapon that everyone will moan about, if it becomes rampantly overused... which I could see happening. Can't wait to unlock it again...

I dont think the "nerf" was too bad to the ARs or SMGs, and thats a good thing.

this update is useless, spawning system and lag compensation is the ONLY 2 elements treyach should be 100% focusing there resources on
