    Atmos for headphones seems to be working


    Since the 2006.200505-0000 the Atmos for headphones works wonderfully, a big thank you to the developers . It was not marked in the patch notes, I remain on my guard and watch over time hoping that the problem does not come back.

    I also have this issue, it seems silly that they talk about dolby atmos when selling these headphones, and it doesn't even work properly with their headset!

    Xbox One, Dolby Atmos - 3 months since it worked correctly

    This issue is frustrating, but where are you experiencing it not working? I do get it to work when playing The Division 2, but with headphones it seems like I have to run the Dolby App every time I reboot the console to get it to work properly again.
    My original Xbox One has issues with static and popping on Netflix with Atmos only. All other Atmos content (games, Blu-Rays, MS movies) work great.

    The same happens when bypassing my AVR (and using headphones plugged into controller headphone jack) and also when using my AVR Atmos speakers.

    Is your console enrolled in the Insider Preview Program?

    When you go to the settings under Display&Sound, do you have the console set up to also play game sound through the headphones? If so, do you use any spatial surround modes like Windows Sonic or Dolby Atmos for headphones?

    If you set it to Dolby Atmos for Headphones, did you actually purchase Dolby Atmos for headphones? If not, you could only try Dolby Atmos for headphones for two weeks. So check the settings if the headphones work with Stereo or Windows Sonic.

    They have Atmos virtualized so any headphone should work as long as you have the Atmos licence paid on the console...

    Dolby Atmos and Atmos for headphones are two different things. Netflix does not support Atmos for headphones as far as I am aware
