I just wanted to add that if you're still having this peculiar problem happen even after the previously posted troubleshooting steps, then it would seem that that could be stemming from a hardware issue with your ethernet port.

Anyone having problems connecting to COD:AW multiplayer?

Looks like it was my wireless router maybe? I use a wired connection through my router but I was experiencing 100% packet loss through it according to Xbox multiplayer connection test. I connected through wireless and now it works with only 1% packet loss. Does this mean I need a new router even if the wireless works and wired connection doesn't? Every other game works fine online when my Xbox is wired. Just a CODAW issue.

Might be an issue with the cord itself. See if you have another cable or plug that cord into something else and test it that way.

 

Try performing a hard reset EXACTLY like this. Hold the power button on the console for 8 seconds or until the power shuts down completely. Unplug the power cord from the back of the console for 5 minutes. Plug the power cord back in and restart
the console.

If the problem persists, try doing a
soft factory reset of the console,
Reset and keep games and apps to help reset the operating system. Please note before doing this troubleshooting step, make sure to know your email and passwords for your Xbox profiles.

Try this out first and let us know the results.

 

Also it depends on the company that you are getting your internet from. I.E. your internet service provider. Along with some other variables. Punchline is, sometimes, and this may not be the case, but sometimes different ISP's run on different frequencies
to provide the internet we get. Sometimes those frequencies run better or only on wireless settings. This is very rare, as the frequencies are very uncommon for a company to install your internet with. They are not practical or optimal. So I would
do the recommended the steps above and I don't know if said to restart your router/gateway as well but the combination will most likely solve whatever issues you are having.
