AT&T: xbox one keeps asking me to authenticate

I also use an ms account authenticator which checks everytime i sign in in an unkniwn connection

Make sure you dont keep the dont ask me again box checked so it checks everythime

This has been an ongoing issue since the system update that were pushed out in February 2014. Since this update was released to the public, users were unable to play multi-player games with a configured alternate MAC address for their console. This would
range from users trying to connect to hotel Wi-Fi, or College/Univ. that are using 802.1x protocol for authentication in a Wi-Fi connected infrastructure.

Ask for the possibility to have your Xbox One's MAC address added to the table of MAC addresses on the authentication server, which is often used with the 802.1x protocol, as the Xbox One doesn't support this particular protocol for authentication. A small
fee may be added for this configuration, but at least you can keep the hardware address of your console as it is.

I don´t say you can´t ask, I just say they won´t tell you. I also said people would abuse it so it make sense for me that they won´t tell you. Don´t call me girl, stay respectful. I am too. I don´t think they have to tell you their intern informations. If
they do, they would give you informations how a part of their system is written and all that.

But go and try and ask them, no one stops you. I would be surprised if you could figure it all out in detail.

Specially cause MS takes VERY good care of keeping those things intern.

I apologies for the issue you are having when using 2-step authentication. However, to make your Xbox One a trusted device with your account you will need to get a Password from your live account settings. This can be found at:
account.live.com/.../Manage When asked to enter the password to your Microsoft account linked with your profile, please generate a code from the 2-step authentication. Then enter that code
on the Xbox. Please keep us updated...
