Strict NAT since isp enabled IPv6

I can disable IPv6, but would much prefer to run it on IPv6 if I can. The sky modem is not in bridge mode and the Asus router is set to wireless router mode.

    Hard to explain issue.

Check for obstructions that is close and could interfere with your router's signal strenght aswell as the external wireless network adapter. Try changing your router's wireless channel manually to a different channel (e.g. 11). Try changing/lowering the
wireless mode (802.11 mode:). If your router's wireless security protocol is set to WEP try changing it to WPA or WPA2. Make sure UPnP is enabled.
