    Astrooner don't load, black screen


    (I Don't have XBOX, I play on a computer)

    Hi, my name is Luis Fernando, and I need help with the Astroneer game.

    I recently purchased the Xbox Game Pass

    And With that, I decided to download astrooner.

    I installed the game and opened shortly afterwards, a microsoft tab appeared.

    It was something loading, but it does not leave the 0%, and was at 0% for about 15 minutes, decided to cancel, and confirmed the cancellation.

    And it was black screen.

    I closed the game, and opened it again.

    But the game opens, and is black screen, and the menu does not appear or anything, just a black screen.

    I tried to uninstall and install the game again, but the same thing happened.

    If you want I put a video for you to understand better, but it's not a big deal.

    I just click start, a game screen pops up, then it's full screen, and it's black, and it doesn't come out of it.

    What I have to do?

    Hi try this, To fix this issue, you have to perform a full shutdown. Hold down the power button for 10 seconds, then turn
    the Xbox One back on. It should display as normal. If not, power it down and unplug all wires, wait a few minutes and turn it back on.

    Astroner is the only game I've installed that wouldn't work. Relaunching it would go to a black screen as well. But it worked after I reinstalled it. So if hard resetting your console and reinstalling dosen't help maybe you could request a refund.

    Ok just found out that this gets past the original black screen but the game then crashes afterwards :(

    I had this exact problem, everything you described. What fixed it for me was logging out of the Xbox companion app on my pc while it said “data syncing”. Logging in afterwards was fine then

    Have you tried restarting your xbox? That might work. I see some people remove that account they bought it on and put it back on whenever games/purchases dont work but that may not work let me know if it works or doesnt!
