Astro a40 + mix amp will not assign to profile

    Astro a40 + mix amp will not assign to profile


    I have had the astro a40 headset + mix amp pro for a while now and have never been able to use it. I had an xbox one s previosly and it would not work. I purchased an xbox series x and the mix amp still would not assign. After purchasing a new mix amp,
    it is doing the same thing. The headset works without the mix amp, so it has something to do with the xbox profile not assigning the mix amp. Any help would be appreciated. Already downloaded atmos and readded my profile.

    Astro A40 TR Headset not being detected on my account

    I’m having the same issue and could use help fixing the problem. I have the A40 with mix amp. It is all plugged in correctly and verified it more than once. I have the Xbox X series. I have also confirmed I have the most recent firmware upgrade on the A40s. I am unable to get the Xbox to assign the A40s to my profile. It shows the headset and says they are connected but nothing happens when I go to assign the headset and without doing that, they do not work. If I unplug the headset from the mix amp and plug into my Xbox controller, they work but still unable to assign them to my profile.

    Any suggestions? Thank you

    What headset do you guy's and girl's use?

    I use astro a40's 2011 edition at the moment but looking at new ones. Dont want wireless as i dont want to be limited by charging etc. so it is either the a40's with mix amp pro or the a40's xbox one editions

    Microphone Sensitivity

    Hello

    Xbox does not support microphone sensitivity, microphone just run at there defaul sensitivity.

    I am using an Astro A40 with Mix Amp Pro and you can edit the Sensitivity, Mic Monitoring and Audio Profiles on the PC and they carry over to the console.
