ASSISTANCE NEEDED. Mincraft xbox one editon disc does not seem to physically work in series x

It actually does. I got the Series X this holiday at $349, and the same disc is working perfectly. I have determined that the Xbox One X disc drive is trying to read Cross Gen discs differently than Xbox One discs. The disc drive on the Series X doesn’t have this issue. You might need a new disc or you might need to send your Series X for maintenance.

And if so how this will work/ what you would need to achieve this.

Xbox Series X will support all Xbox One games (with the exception of Kinect titles). This BC will be supported by both physical discs and digital downloads.

For discs you'll just insert your original Xbox One disc and the game will install and play as it does on an Xbox One. Digital games will be available to download again from your library - you just need the account you purchased them.

If you have an external hard drive for your current Xbox One, you just need to connect via USB to the Series X. Any games you have already installed (digital or disc) will be ready to play.

Additionally, the other console that read the disc, is an Xbox One, or a Series X?

Moreover, is this EA FC24 for both the Xbox One and Series X, or only for one of those consoles? You can check this by looking at the box.

Physical games on the Xbox One platform are region free and work on all Xbox One console's.

So regardless of any region differences with Series X, your Xbox One games will not be affected as the region free is hard coded into the discs (for want of a better explanation). My guess is that the Series X will be region free for physical games anyway.

What about if you use a disc and does a disc of xbox one edition work with the series x
