Assassin's Creed IV "Problem with the update"

Hey, I'm having trouble installing an update for Assassin's Creed IV. Here's the discription of what's happening.

I have installed my copy of the game. I've played it enough to gain the best items and have beaten the Freedom Cry expansion.

It should be working but it's not. On my Xbox One dash board, I click on the "current disk" button. It shows an update screen for a fraction of a second, then proceeds to go to a screen with the heading "There was a problem with the update." It then reads
"You need to update Assassin's Creed® IV Black Flag, but something went wrong. for help, visit Xbox.com/xboxone/update/help."

There are three options. Try again, Check network connection and Cancel. Pressing Try again doesn't work. I pressed Check network connection and it asks if it is a wireless or wired internet connection.

I know it has an Ethernet cable plugged in, so I pressed wired. It then says "Everything is good" and "Your console is now connected to the internet" with a continue option. Pressing continue brings me back to the dash board.

Pressing the "current disk" button just does the same thing again, with the same three options. There is no error code. I have not tried uninstalling it, I want to avoid that if possible. Please respond if you have seen this, fixed it, or are part of the
Support Team. I have tried power cycling my Xbox One, but it still did not work.

Again, this is for my Xbox One version of Assassin's Creed IV Black Flag.

Slightly off topic here, but has anyone been watching Da Vinci's Demons - Very 'Assassin's Creed'

 

Is there any chance you could disconnect the ethernet cable, add the WiFi settings to the console, then power cycle* it and then try the update again while still connected wirelessly?

*Make sure it's a full power cycle, not just turning off and on:
