    Assassin's Creed 4 current-gen (Xbox 360) or next gen (PS4)?


    I'm in a bit of dilemma; I'm not sure whether I should buy Assassin's Creed 4 for my Xbox 360 or my PS4. The Xbox 360 version is quite cheap (about £25) while the PS4 is still over £40. I don't really want to spend too much money on this game, as I'm saving
    up for the Infamous: Second Sun anyway, so I'm leaning more towards the 360 version. Is there any real reason to spend £15-20 more for the PS4 version, or should I just go with the 360 version?

    Next gen Ubisift games are selling more than their current gen counterparts

    Ubisoft has stated that games like Watch Dogs and Assassins Creed 4 are selling more on next-gen platforms than on 360 and PS3 as they ahve gotten more pre-orders for PS4 and X box One version of these games. I have pre-ordered Watch Dogs for PS4. What about you guys?

    What games are you looking forward to most.

    Assassin's Creed 4 and Infamous 3. Possibly Destiny but nothing else next gen has impressed me so far. Splinter Cell, FFX HD remaster, Tales of Xillia (August 6th WOOOOOO!) and State of Decay for current generation consoles.

    I bought the 360 version for $15US because its optimized for 360 and just upgraded to XboxOne.

    Assassins Creed 4 on 360 or ONE?

    Assassins Creed 4 will be a Next Gen. Saw some footage of a Great White attacking a boat, and I simply have to see that on Next Gen. Cod Ghosts will be my only Next Gen upgrade.

    Next gen sequels

    Well, one of the launch games for Xbox One that I will be purchasing is a sequel, Assassin's Creed IV. Of course, what would make me happier than a next-gen sequel would be if they made a special edition combo of Creed II and Brotherhood for next-gen using
    the next-gen engine and graphics. That would make my day.

    Other games I can't wait for next-gen sequels to are the Batman: Arkham series (looking forward to Origins, too bad it's only current gen) and Splinter Cell (though I'd settle for some current gen DLC for Blacklist at the moment. Love this game!).

    X1 flagship game the same as 360?

    I think the same of Titanfall as I think of other cross gen games, slight improvement but nothing drastic.

    Assassins Creed 4 & Call of Duty on XB1/PS4 for example, not a major leap from what we see on Xbox 360/PS3.

    As others have said before, the 360 and PS3 are being pushed to the "max" now why the next gen consoles the developers are only just getting to grips with. Look back to the first games on 360/PS3, then look at the games in recent years, a fair difference.

    So I expect in the years to come, future games like Titanfall, Forza, COD, Assassins Creed etc on XB1/PS4 will start to show some real differences "visually"
