Asphalt 9 Legends is a Windows 10 only game, hence why you cannot download the game with Windows 8. Check the system requirements on here

Sorry to hear you're having trouble accessing Asphalt Legends Unite. Can you confirm if you're trying to launch the game from Microsoft Store application or Xbox PC app? Please make sure that you are signed in to both applications using the same account.

Please follow these steps:

1. Press the Windows Logo Key + R to open the Run dialog box, type wsreset.exe, and then select OK.

2. A blank Command Prompt window will open, and after about ten seconds the window will close and Microsoft Store will open automatically. Please check if you will get the same error when launching the game directly from the Microsoft Store.
