ask to join game

    a few people I know have the option to "ask to join game" when they go to a friend's profile. I don't have this option and I know it's a feature we are supposed to have. I remember Microsoft showing what's to come in a future update and it included the "ask to join game" option, but that option was never available for me. is there a way for me to activate it or am I just not going to have it?

    i am in the insider program. i'm pretty sure it was released to the public in an update though. when i contact microsoft about it, its hard to explain the issue so no one really is able to help.

    Very likely this feature is currently in the testing circles, which your friends are like the members of. All features that prove to be reliable are usually passed on to the masses when they are ready

    Also, i can invite them to game and then they can join but the just can't join without having to ask me first. Is there some random button that disallows friends from joining?
