    Arris: Party chat disconnected


    Arris (Modems/Gateways): Party chat disconnected
    I can't join peoples xbox live parties I have a modem which combines the router and a separate router which I use. Even if I am on the **** one it says nat type open but I still can't connect to peoples parties. I have tried port forwarding and that did
    nothing so all I am asking for is some help to fix this issue please ☺

    Connecting xbox 360 s to **** TG862g modem supplied by comcast/xfinity

    This is a DNS issue. The Arris does not identify third party DNS for some reason and Xbox uses a 3rd party DNS. this is a Arris issue and not comcast.

    Disconnect from ANY interaction with a console in THE SAME HOUSE.

    So why does the party chat disconnect us as well?
