    • Gateway - 192.168.0.1
    • Username - admin
    • Password - password
    How to Find Firmware Version

    1. Open a web browser.
    2. Enter http://192.168.0.1 in the address bar.
    3. Enter the username and password if the gateway asks.(admin/password)
    4. From the menu on the top select Wireless.
    5. From the submenu on the top select Utilities.
    6. Select System Settings from the left.
    7. Firmware will be located on this page labeled Firmware Version.

    How to Find Firmware Version

    1. Open a web browser.
    2. Log into the router by entering the default gateway into the address bar (192.168.0.1) of the internet browser.
    3. The router will then prompt for a user name and password. The default is that user name is "admin" and the password is “password”.
    4. From the menu on the top select Wireless.
    5. From the submenu on the top select Utilities.
    6. Select System Settings from the left.
    7. Firmware will be located on this page labeled Firmware Version.

    How to Find Firmware Version



    1. Open up a web browser.
    2. Type “192.168.0.1” into the web address bar.
    3. A login screen will appear asking for a username and password. See
      Login Information above to login to the gateway.
    4. After logging into the gateway, click on “Utilities”.
    5. On the main page, under the “Hardware Software Version” the current firmware version will be shown.

    Also, I don't know if this helps, but my Belkin Firmware version is 2.10.17 (Aug 26, 2013). I don't really know the Arris modem's Firmware version though.

    Cannot connect to internet

    If there is no firmware update very little I would have thought, not wirelessly anyway. If you wish to retain wireless security (which is very sensible) going wired or using powerline adapters would be my recommendation.

    It it certainly worth reporting to Arris , they may be able to resolve this in future firmware, what is the exact model of Arris by the way (and firmware version)?

    The ARRIS TG862G/CT (xfinity) has some known issues with intermittent disconnections and connectivity issues when connected wirelessly with the Xbox.

    Make sure your device is updated to firmware version 7.6.59c or later. Please see the
    Firmware Update section for instructions on how to update your devices
    firmware.

    Post back and let us know how that goes.
