    Arris (Modems/Gateways): Change Wireless Channel
    **** TG1672 (**** Firmware)

    Login Information

    • Gateway - 192.168.0.1
    • Username - admin
    • Password - password
    Change Wireless Channel

    1. Open a web browser.
    2. Enter http://192.168.0.1 in the address bar.
    3. Enter the username and password if the gateway asks.(admin/password)
    4. From the menu on the top select Wireless.
    5. From the submenu on the top select Wireless Setup.
    6. From the menu on the left select Basic.
    7. From the drop down menu labeled Channel select the desired channel. (Channels 1,3,9,11).
    8. Click Apply.

    All games and xbox services lag every 5-10 minutes for about 10 seconds.

    Do you use a wireless headset? If so, please post up the make and model.

    Access your router and
    change the wireless channel     manually to channel 1 to see if it might improve the wireless signal strength. Also make sure

    UPnP     (Universal Plug and Play) is enabled/turned on for this device.

    Best thing would be try it wired to see if its a wireless problem or not , you could also change the wireless channel and see if that helps ....some routers (mostly arris ) have "known issues" with xbox one , if you list your modem and router we can check
    that ...also , you don't show as "gold" do you play on a different profile ?

    Could you try this solution and tell us if you can connect to your wireless network.

    Login to your Arris TG862.

    Change the wireless channel manually to channel 1. Apply and reboot your default gateway.

    Turn on your console and go to Network Settings. Do not choose your SSID from Available Networks. Instead, scroll to right and select
    Advanced Options and select Specify Unlisted Network.
    Type the SSID name for your wireless network (remember that the SSID is case sensitive). Choose
    WPA and enter your passphrase.

    Be sure to report back if this solution works.

    1080i Cable TV on XBox One?

    Are there any detailed instructions on how to load up videos to the OneDrive for comparison? I'd do this if so.

    I am an ATT UVerse subscriber and the main TV receiver is an Arris VIP2250. I have two wireless receivers and they are Cisco ISB7005s. I've noticed that it's not all of the channels, some look decent, but most look degraded (ie Travel Channel).
