Constantly disconnecting from Xbox Live while playing games

Could you check UPnP (Universal Plug and Play) and make sure it is enabled. Make sure your console are set to obtain IP address and DNS automatic. How
to enable UPnP on Arris TG862G (Xfinity).

 

Xbox Can't connect to Internet but Internet is running on PC

Hi,

I think you're a little confused on how 'Port Forwarding' works. When you open ports on an IP address, the IP you are opening is an IP address on your own network. The ports are already open Microsoft's end.

I suggest you start here Setup a port forward in your router to allow incoming connections for multiplayer games, VOIP, DVR, and security cameras.
