ARK Survival Evolved

Hi.

I've seen a lot of people on my friends list playing ARK: Survival Evolved on the Xbox One these past few days, and i have to ask, why doesn't Microsoft let other countries besides the UK and the US, have access to this title?

I mean, i've got it on the PC, through Steam Early Access, but this game isn't licensed to the UK or US alone (Otherwise i wouldn't even be able to get it on Steam!).

I wasn't sure of where to post this question really, but seeing as it's part of the Xbox Live Service, i reckoned this would be the best place to post it.

I Purchased ARK: Survival Evolved (Game Preview) in xbox live store, But .. did not receive my 1250 points . where is my points?

 

Yes i agree why does it have to be "region locked" it is and awesome game i happy to pay even 50-60€ for it i guess of the pricing its like that but why can't you just make it that you can't change location

 

So I spoke to support, and I have to say, I am more frustrated now than before.

It seems like they're trying to avoid the question, and their support even tried to convince me that there's no such thing as "Game Preview" on the Xbox One, and that Studio Wildcard is the ones who decide where their game is released.

Decided to contact the developer, who then told me that ARK is already released world wide, but not all regions have Game Preview fully implemented yet.

I asked when to expect ARK and the support agent told me that it depends on the developer... Again, more BS.

When the developer tells me that the game is released world wide and that it is ultimately up to Microsoft who gets to play the game under Game Preview, something is *** up.

Microsoft has some explaining to do!

 

I honestly don't know why they wouldn't allow for all regions to be supported. I suppose it can be the developer, but I wouldn't put it past microsoft to put it up to US/UK only.
