    ARK Survival Evolved won't launch


    Hi there, I recently downloaded Ark Survival Evolved Explorers Edition form the xbox gamepass on Windows 10. It downloaded all the contnents with no issue but whenever I try to start it, it boots up a icon of the game sourrounded by a blue background and then seemingly crashes. I've tried everything from uninstalling the game, restarting my pc, updating drivers but nothing is working. No matter what, the game will not open. My pc is well above the requirements to run the game despite this, the game won't get past the initial boot screen. Please help.

    Ark Survival Evolved: Required to purchase Extinction?

    Ark Survival Evolved is a full game, and Ark Extinction is an add-on. Your title and description are contrary to each other and so I'm confused.

    If you purchased Ark Survival Evolved then you should be just able to play it. However, if you purchased Ark Extinction then you must also purchase Ark
    Survival Evolved.

    I have tried everything on that list and sitll nothing has worked. I've downloaded many other games from the Xbox Game Pass app but this is the only one I've had an issue with. Unfortunately, nothing on that list worked.
