Ark survival evolved download help! Now would very much be appreciated

I started the new update with the carch so I would be able to play servers but the update jumped from 12 ish gb to 72 gb it’s stuck at 51% in the Xbox app but in the windows store it says 36% at 8.50gb I can’t figure out how big the update is and I want to be playing because my PvP partner has to play a new wipe by himself right now. I also can’t play any games because it causes the update to error code and stops downloading it just says to try again in a little bit I’ve tried restarting my pc it starts the update back at 1.5 gb of 12 and after it gets to 6gb it jumps to 72 as I previously stated.

Just to confirm. The update hangs at 1.5GB? or always at 51% as you state in the beginning of your thread?

Also, if you try downloading a new game, something similar happens or is this happening only when you want to update ARK?

What error code are you receiving when the update fails?

And please tell me:

Are you using Windows 10 or 11?

Besides restarting the PC, did you tried something else or that's all?

In that way I can advise you different things or how to proceed

Ark Survival Evolved is a full game, and Ark Extinction is an add-on. Your title and description are contrary to each other and so I'm confused.

If you purchased Ark Survival Evolved then you should be just able to play it. However, if you purchased Ark Extinction then you must also purchase Ark
Survival Evolved.
