ark survival evolved crashing when clicking settings

this is just starting to bug me as i thought ark would run better on my pc but unfortunately i cant change the options without the game crashing i have tried reinstalling tried troubleshooting and anywhere i find information its for the steam version of
the game if anyone knows how to fix this it would be ideal

Ark survival evolved

hi when i starta up ark survival evolved on My Xbox one s the game just crash and i don't know so can someone Help me??

Error Code 0x87e107e3

Random error code. Crashed while playing Ark : Survival Evolved, and now can't get back in. I searched the code and "no information available" on it.

If this is the Windows 10 store version, I'd first try to reset the app by going to settings > Apps and then finding Ark in the list. From there click it and select Advanced Options. On that page will be a button to "Reset" the app.

If that doesn't work this page has a number of other steps to try that might resolve the issue for you: Fix ARK: Survival Evolved Issues on Windows 10

What are the specs of the computer you're trying to run it on? That might have something to do in terms of compatibility.

intel i7 3770 3.40GHz

16GB RAM

nvidia geforce 970 gtx i have updated the driver and checked if it was that but what windows 10 tends to do is overwrite the driver even though i have changed the option for it to do that

also my problem is that it crashes when i click on options so i cant change any settings i would try to avoid it but i prefer to make sure the settings right for me. The websites fixes didnt work unfortunately and i have reset it multiple times and have
uninstalled and reinstalled the game

Ark Survival Evolved is a full game, and Ark Extinction is an add-on. Your title and description are contrary to each other and so I'm confused.

If you purchased Ark Survival Evolved then you should be just able to play it. However, if you purchased Ark Extinction then you must also purchase Ark
Survival Evolved.

When it comes to grinding and surviving, ARK: Survival Evolved is my go to game to play.

also if you go to Setting Click Network settings and advanced settings and click Alternate Mac address, and Click Manual I think it is and It will ask you to restart your console. this worked for me when "Ark Survival Evolved" would Start and kick me EVERY
time to the dashboard and after that it worked.
