Ark:survival evolved asking me to buy even though I brought it in game preview

please try the manual power cycle steps like mentioned on the following link, be sure to wait at least 60 seconds before powering on again:

Also make sure you are using the correct account that purchased it, and if the console is not set as your Home console, make sure there is a connection to Xbox Live

If all is correct and you still are experiencing this issue, you may have to contact Xbox Support, so they can check into the issue

Thank you for the reply but already done all of the above and more was told to contact game preview support by the advisor I was speaking with as there a different department and was sent to this forum really starting to get on my nerves now as I’ve been
in contact with two advisors now and neither have been any help

Hi,

it seems that somehow the advisors misunderstood the issue (and thought it was Xbox Insider/Preview for dashboard related), while this is Game (preview) related.

You will have to reach out again to Xbox Support and explain that it seems to be a licensing issue on your account that is causing you to not see the game (that your purchased quite some time ago)

There is no other department that handles Game(preview) related issues.

Ark Survival Evolved is a full game, and Ark Extinction is an add-on. Your title and description are contrary to each other and so I'm confused.

If you purchased Ark Survival Evolved then you should be just able to play it. However, if you purchased Ark Extinction then you must also purchase Ark
Survival Evolved.

Currently, Ark: Survival Evolved is part of Xbox Games Preview, which means that the game can only be downloaded in regions in which the Games Preview programme is available. Unfortunately, Games Preview is currently unavailable in the Netherlands, so you
will be unable to download Ark until either Games Preview comes to NL or Ark is released as a full game.
