    Ark Survival Ascended Immediate Crash Problem


    Anyone know how to help me? I also asked the ARK discord, Reddit, Unreal Engine website, Steam discussion page but it didn't seem to help. After taking a 6 month break from Ark, I reinstalled it and had this issue. I've been trying to resolve this issue for a month now. I've tried everything I could find online but I still crash as soon as I start ASA from the Steam library. I purchased this game some while ago and desperate to play it again. I would contact the studio themselves but stopped with customer service responses 7 months ago.

    I've reinstalled the ENTIRE GAME, cleared my cache, used -dx11 in the advanced launch settings, tried to launch the testing realm, ensured I have the right specs, updated my graphics driver, verified files, deleted ALL the mods, and switched to a different user profile. I couldn’t find out how to download an older version but I’m not sure if that would help.

    Here are my specifications:

    Processor AMD Ryzen 7 5800X 8-Core Processor 3.80 GHz

    Installed RAM 16.0 GB

    System type 64-bit operating system, x64-based processor

    Graphics Card NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3070 TI

    It says this every time in the "Crash!" window:

    According to your description, you cannot install your DLC content in Ark Survival Ascended.



    This is a hot issue, and the community has received a lot of feedback from players with the same problem.

    And you can try to uninstall and install it on the Microsoft Store/Xbox different programs to see if it works.

    You can try to change your connection DNS.

    Please, follow these steps:

    Go to Profile and System > Settings

    In the Settings menu, select General > Network settings.

    Select the network you're connected to, then select Advanced settings > Manual

    On the DNS field, input these:

    Primary: 8.8.8.8

    Secondary: 8.8.4.4

    Save settings.

    Let me know if it works!

    I changed the DNS fields as directed and it still continues to kick me out of the game when attempting my single player game.
