    Hi,

    I'm currently trying to make a headless server file for ark survival evolved that my friends and I can play using the windows version of the game. I know that there are server files included in the steam version of the game that allows you to run a headless server for the game. However, I have no idea about the windows ten version of the game. I know that there are a bunch of hidden files, however, I don't want to have to go in them unless I have to, and I'm technically allowed to go in them. My main goal is to just figure out if there's a way to use my computer to host a headless server of the game that my friends and I can play ark on our Xboxes with. Also, I don't want to rent a server.

    The main thing I’m trying to avoid is getting my Microsoft account locked because of hidden files, I don’t think the ark devs have any control over that

    Because all the Xbox / Microsoft store games are encrypted and files can’t be modified

    Ark Survival Evolved: Required to purchase Extinction?

    Ark Survival Evolved is a full game, and Ark Extinction is an add-on. Your title and description are contrary to each other and so I'm confused.

    If you purchased Ark Survival Evolved then you should be just able to play it. However, if you purchased Ark Extinction then you must also purchase Ark
    Survival Evolved.
