Ark sessions filter not allowing filter changes, can’t access servers or games I play on...

that would depend on the game you are playing, some game will allow you to filter your matchmaking

allowing you to chose parameters such as: language, region, connection quality, etc...

for this feature you would have to look for matchmaking settings in your games (forcing the servers to only put you in games that match your filters)

(doing so might increase the time it take to find a match)

as for matchmaking on Xbox live side (in the event that the game does not have custom filters)

the server will first look for: proximity to you and/or connection quality and/or language then will gradually expend its search until it find a ''suitable'' session to play on.

Hi Kyle, it is not an "In Game Issue" if you go search this problem on the internet, it is a MICROSOFT issue. Apparently there are new parameters added to the profanity filter, however, this filter does block a lot of regular use words, as well as acronyms and other languages.
I need to know where in this MICROSOFT/XBOX for PC platform do I change the messaging filter / profanity filter that is blocking.

I joined the X-box for PC community to play Ark Survival Ascended, but if this can't be solved, I will gladly cancel my subscription rather than play frustrated and unable to join servers that I can't search due to a Microsoft issue.

Change your filter on the server browser.

its due to the fact that not many people worldwide are playing ghosts anymore and server issues im told though that recently they have removed the country filter from ghosts due to low player counts in idea allowing people to fill lobbies but then creating
horrific lag sessions.

also told that they have removed aim assist from ghosts.

Bungie.net is their own servers

so is there name filters as bungie pro and waypoint is bungie owned

if bungie doesn't allow you to use your name then and refused to change their filters there is nothing you can do



what the tech means is that 1st gamertags are in the realm of xbox live if you aren't allowed on waypoint or bungie pro then YOU must change your gamertag on xbox live to get into bungie's servers



2nd you cannot change your name on waypoint without changing your gamertag
