ARK Error "joining failed" "could not retrieve address"

Discus and support ARK Error "joining failed" "could not retrieve address" in XBoX on Windows to solve the problem; im trying to join friends Ark server but when i try to join from PC it says Error "joining failed" "could not retrieve address" those are the 2 errors...     im trying to join friends Ark server but when i try to join from PC it says Error "joining failed" "could not retrieve address" those are the 2 errors i run into any help for this issue?

    Ark: Survival Evolved

    So I have done some more troubleshooting. She can join other servers. I on my pc can also join official servers. I do have all the ports open and forwarded that Xbox normally requires. My pc still says join failed when I try to join her. Same on Xbox side. My pc does say could not retrieve address when I try to join unofficial dedicated arks.

    Thanks for the reply. All of the above are in order. I have 10mbps download and 6mbps upload. I have an open nat and no error messages. I am connected to xbox live but when i want to join the official server on ark it still say cant retrieve address and
    then i have to try again. I have been trying to connect for 3hours now and still cant join or get in the server. Is this an xbox issue or is it an ark issue. Appreciate the assistance and info..

    In Ark i can see the server list, but when i try to log in a error message appears: Failed To Join: Unknow Error

    Have you played other games from game pass on PC with your friends and you get no errors?

    If they try to join you the same error appears?
