    I'm playing in a Ranked game and the xbox automatically pops up with a update. This is becoming a joke. So many times this has happened and gets me banned on the game.

    MW3 spec ops reset?

    I can't say for sure mate but I know from a COD title in the past, if you didn't play for a while, when you started playing you would have lost ranks, took a while for the servers to update your rank again to what it should be. ( Ranks earned in Team Deathmatch
    etc )

    I'm not sure if it was a common problem and something that was ever fixed but that's the only thing I can think of.

    Hopefully someone else will be able to help you out here.

    GEARS OF WAR 2 DATA WIPED FOR NO REASON

    Clearing your cache and then trying to play the game online will reset your rank. Before you play, ALWAYS be sure to have the most recent update.

    Also, signing in to XBL while on any loading screen will reset your rank.

    Just a future heads up.

    me too. i wasn't just playing planet earth 2 uhd last night with the kids. this morning i turn it on, i got that error message. can't do anything..

    last night while i was playing the movie, it says there's an update pending. could it be the update?

    I don't recommend anyone joining this, well unless you like to be yelled at by a kid. To many power hungry kids on a power trip from a in-game rank :/ kinda funny if you ask me.

    I fully support the OP's opinion on this matter as well as OG Pooh's. I detest the notion of selling additional car packs, especially so soon after launch. Asinine! I'll never buy it.
