    Are we ever going to be able to do 1440 @120hz with HDR?


    Xbox Series X is what I have . From what I've read HDR is tied to "allow 4k' but then that setting overrides resolution to 4k even if set to 1440. My display can only do 1440 @ 120 but without HDR is not great. Just allow HDR with 1440 or 1080, I know display issues effect alot of people.

    Altough the Xbox One X supports 1440 and 120Hz, games are not going to run on 120Hz, console is not prepared for that yet.

    So my best advice is to go for 4K HDR if your monitor supports it, and when the Series X is released, you will be able to use 1440/120Hz!

    I dont think its a bug as I am able to select 1440 with 120hz on my TV.

    The game itself also has to be enable from the devs to run at 120 FPS. I don’t know of any AAA games on XOX that are able to run at 1440p 120 FPS.
