Confirm parental consent for <name deleted> account

If you haven’t confirmed consent when we previously contacted you, this is a reminder that if you don’t provide consent, your Gisele account will be suspended on October 25, 2023

Your child needs your help to continue to access many Microsoft products, websites, online services, and apps like Outlook, OneDrive, Xbox, Bing, Skype, Windows, and Cortana. You’ll need to sign in to your Microsoft account to provide consent.

If you don’t provide consent confirmation for Gisele by October 25, 2023, they’ll no longer be able to sign in to their Microsoft account. Sign-in attempts will prompt your child to seek the required parental consent.

To prevent disruption in access, sign in and confirm your child’s permissions.

    :)

The email should have the email address that it came from. Check that. Usually Microsoft emails end with microsoft.com

I does show as coming from microsoft.com, but that's not always a guarantee of safety. That's why I want to know if they're actually going to send it.

    Family Safety app Organizer's email

Hello, Nader. I'm Arturo, and I'll be glad to provide assistance with your inquiry today.

First, it is important to ask that please refrain from sharing personal information, including email addresses, gamertags, etc.

As community users, we are not able to enter or check your account information, and everything we comment can be seen by anyone on the internet.

That being said, if you're the family organized, and you have access to the account, you can add a new email address by following these steps:

“Go to Add an alias https://go.microsoft.com/fwlink/p/?linkid=864833. Sign in to your Microsoft account, if prompted.

Under Add an alias, do one of the following:

Create a new Outlook.com email address and add it as an alias.

Add an existing email address as an alias.

    Select Add alias.”

However, you may want to keep this in mind when trying to add a new alias/email:

“You can't add an email address that's associated with a work or school account as an alias.

An alias or email address can only contain letters, numbers, dot (.), underscore (_) or dash/hyphen (-). Spaces and other special characters aren't allowed.

Existing Hotmail, Live, Outlook.com, and MSN addresses can't be added as aliases, and you can't add an alias that is already associated with another Microsoft account.

It isn't possible to create a new alias using @hotmail, @live.com, or @msn.com. If a Hotmail address is important to you, you need to sign out and create a new account.”

Besides that, in case you're interested in making the new alias the primary one (this doesn't delete your previously linked aliases/emails), you can follow these steps:

“Go to Manage how you sign in to Microsoft https://go.microsoft.com/fwlink/p/?linkid=842796. Sign in to your Microsoft account if prompted.

Under Account aliases, select Make primary next to the email address that you want to use as your primary alias.”
