Are there second hand Xbox Adaptive Controllers?

There might be 2nd hand ones available, check you local game stores. There might be one or two in them, if not then check online stores such as amazon or ebay.

My idea was to buy a 3.5mm-to-usb adapter and plug it into the system itself as opposed to using the faulty 3.5 in the wireless controller. I bought the controller second hand so warranty is out of the question.

i got x12 yesterday second hand and even with the adapter for controller they work fine,bass volume and mic all work great,good buy for 20 quid.

That's a negative. You can use Xbox One controllers on an Xbox One console and using the newer

wireless adapter for Windows 10. The X360 controller is programmed to work on Windows PCs, but relies on its own 'Xbox 360 Controller for Windows Wireless Adapter'. These can be found cheaply, second hand. Here are some useful links, for you:

The kinect for Xbox One was discontinued on 25 October 2017.

It will be hard to find an adapter for it, most probably second hand aswell.
