    Are there problems with games loading on the beta build?


    I have a few games that will sit on the launch screen for like 15 mins before it finally launches the game. And then when I finally get in, normally the first thing it has to load or sign in will take almost just as long. I can’t actually get into the game when everything you select in the menus takes forever, some games will ‘time out’ and refuse to do anything. MCC is completely broken. It will freeze whenever you select anything. Gears 5 I can’t get past the first in-game loading. Rockband took a good 20 mins for the first load but then it worked fine. FF8 works fine and launches immediately like normal. What are my options here? Drop down to Omega build? Factory reset? If others are having problems, I guess I just ride it out? Had this problem since Saturday and the update today didn’t fix it.

    Should be.

    The full game is out in 4 weeks. This is why I don't get it when people say it's an "old build". It doesn't make logical sense to release an "older build" beta of a game that's out in 4 weeks. Betas are supposed to test and find problems. How will you
    achieve that if it's an older build? Problems which AREN'T in the Beta might be in the full retail game - the newer build.

    this beta is not even a current build of the beta, because MS takes so long to cert games, we're using an outdated build of the beta that also is not running on max settings as well..

    I have to admit I am not enjoying the beta as don't like the map battlefield is not battlefield without vehicles but it is not the final build of the game and it is only one map so I am not going to judge what the game is going to be like based on the beta.
    IMHO I don't even think the "beta" is actually the beta build I think it is an earlier build of the game.

    The beta build is 8 weeks old at least and around 20 problems have been fixed since the release of the beta.
