Are there any good games on Xbox One besides shooters, sports and racing games?

I'm just interested to know, and because i'm too lazy to look at the games list.

JRPGs on Xbox One

The fact that most Xbox gamers only play Shooters, Racing, and Sports games are stopping a few publishers like Xseed to bring their games to the Xbox One. Most Xbox gamers are not into Japanese games that much.

JRPG games never sold well on Xbox platforms, so that's why you probably won't see a lot of JRPGs on Xbox One besides the fact that the Xbox brand was always a failure in Japan compared to PlayStation.

It would be nice to have more diverse selection of games though. Don't blame Microsoft, blame the Xbox gamers that never brought those JRPGs, the problem here is that most Xbox gamers only buy Shooters, Racing, and Sports games, but there are some Xbox gamers
that have better taste for games though just saying.

I'm too lazy to tell you what they are though.

 

All joking aside you can pick up "Murdered Soul Suspect" and "Zoo Keeper" for really cheap nowadays.

The former is a game where you investigate your own murder.

The latter is a Zoo simulator where you... well... simulate a zoo.

Both are good fun.

 

I forgot to mention that i'm looking for games that are exclusive to the 8th gen.

 

"Ryse: Son Of Rome".

Still the best looking game of this gen regardless of console.

Some people say it's short.

If you storm through it on recruit difficulty and then toss it to one side when you've finished it I suppose it might be.

But you'll have more fun playing on the harder difficulties and unlocking all the moves and abilities as well as playing online and maxing out your Multiplayer character.

 

If you are looking for games exclusive to this gen, then I would check out Sunset Overdrive. It's fun as hell. It's a 3rd person shooter/grinding and jumping similar to skating with some crazy characters.

The Witcher 3 best game I've ever played is one you should check out. It's a 3rd person RPG. I got nearly 200 hours in the base game and the first expansion just released this week adding another 10 hours. There is an even bigger expansion coming out in
2016.

You can check out AC Unity. I didn't think I would like it and i wound up loving it.

Bat man arkham knight is supposed to be awesome. I haven't played it myself yet.

 

Dragon Age: Inquisition is a really good game if you're looking for something outside of FPS, Sports or Racing genres. Another good one is Middle-earth: Shadow of Mordor.

 

Dead Rising 3, Ori, Sunset OverDrive, Ryse, , Scream Ride, ..... seems like a troll post for some reason.

 

Ok, I'll feel free to tell you the best Xbox One games outside shooters, racing, and sports games.

- The Witcher 3 (best Western RPG game to date & the best game in the series overall)

- Ori and the Blind Forest (beautiful game)

- Dragon Age Inquisition (better than Dragon Age 1 & 2 all the way)

- Dying Light (fun game)

- Batman Arkham Knight (just as good as Batman Arkham City)

- GTA 5 (nuff said)

- Tomb Raider Definitive Edition (worth getting remastered on next-gen consoles)

Plus it's upcoming games like Rise of Tomb Raider, Falllout 4, Quantum Break, Scalebound, ReCore, Crackdown 3, Deus Ex Mankind Divided, and The Division.

 

Eliteangerous(very steep learning curve but great once you get the hang of it)

Dying Light

Witcher 3

Plague Inc

Sunset Overdrive

Zoo Tycoon

There is also Tomb Raider, State of Decay, Farcry 4 and GTA5 but they're on 360 as well.
