Are there any editing software apps on xbox and also how can I add my own voice to my clips?

Unfortunately the voice (be it your own or party chat) does not record when you use the XBox to record clips. Not sure if you are editing the clips afterwards before you upload them to YouTube or not, but if you are then maybe you have the option of also
recording voice commentary to add to the video before hand with other software? Just a thought if you are doing any editing afterwards.

I had the same question. Essentially the 'upload' only function would be if you wanted to edit your clip (add voice over etc etc) and then save this to your 'my clips' section for your friends to view, but not add to skydrive.

However, if you're not bothered about editing the video, you can effectively just say "xbox record that", which will record the clip, then go into my clips and ensure you save it to keep it there.

If you're not editing your clip, there's no need to re 'upload' it after saving it in your clips.

At the moment you can save your clips to your onedrive and then you can do as you like from your pc.

If you have editing software on your pc you could use your saved clips pulled from the onedrive.

Also when windows 10 is rolled out for free ! There will be an xbox app with the upload studio built in were you will be able to edit all your clips on any windows 10 device.

I have tried this on several clips of different games and also tested different resolutions. Any time I add a voice-over to a clip using upload studio it does not show up in my profile nor can I share it by any means... I've tried all the troubleshooting
techniques.

I personally use the 'Broadcast and Capture > Capture > Manage captures' method. If you open the file in Windows 10 via Photos and Videos, you can edit/trim the clip. Via X1, I think the Upload Studio method allows voice overs - you can definitely edit the
clip also. Feel free to take a look and post your results.
