Are the Minecraft Xbox 360 Mini Game servers still functional?

I bought Gold a few months ago to play a lot of games that I used to play online on my XBOX 360, but Minecraft had one issue, "The connection to the server was lost. Exiting to main menu" showed up every time I tried to join a public Mini Game server. I tried going into a world with a friend and that worked just fine. If the Legacy Console version on Xbox One had Mini Game servers operating just fine, then how come it won't work on the 360? It may be on 4J Studio's end, or it could be Microsoft's end. Any help is greatly appreciated.

Update: Microsoft's Minecraft support team didn't help much. To test this out, my and my friend set up a public mini game server, with my friend making a public Battle server. I joined from the "Join" tab, and it came up with the annoying "The connection to the server was lost. Exiting to main menu" error. My friend then disabled the option "Public Game." Then, if you join from the "Friends" tab it works just fine,

They didn't close the servers, I think It is because not many people are playing public games on the 360 Console. You can reach out to Minecraft support for assistance here https://help.minecraft.net/hc/en-us/requests/new

Theres a different message if theres no available games. (At least on PS3 and PS4, dont see why it would be different on 360)
