Are Searchable Custom Public Lobbies Possible on Xbox One?

Ever since coming to Xbox One the Forza games have dropped custom public lobbies in multiplayer. I've asked Turn 10 why on every possible platform I could, but am always ignored. The only time anyone answered all I was told was that they weren't allowed
to discuss that and that the only person that could was Dan Greenawalt, the top guy at Turn 10, and to please ask him. I did, knowing full well the chance of a reply was next to none and of course heard nothing back. I did actually get into a back and forth
with him once on Twitter about something else, but as soon as I switched the topic and asked him that I never heard another word.

If someone could answer this it'd be greatly appreciated.

Finding Xbox Live a bit boring now.

get rid of matchmaking and bring back custom public lobbies, with the option to disable party chat in said lobby.

Any multiplayer feature is ultimately at the sole discretion of the game developer's decision to include it in the game. They may have dropped that feature to likely focus their multiplayer gameplay in different direction.

Game devs aren't obligated to share details about their projects, so it would explain why they've been giving you the cold shoulder once you started prying too deep with questions.

Unfortunately, you won't be able to find a clear answer here. The only reliable source of information is going to come straight from the developers.

Ok, so then there are no restrictions in place either as policy by Microsoft or in how Xbox Live on Xbox One is set up that would prevent developers in including user created searchable public multiplayer lobbies in games? I think that's what you're saying,
I just wanted to make sure. I've noticed that not only Forza but many other games where this feature would seem to be common sense don't include them and in fact have never seen it in any game on Xbox One, although I certainly haven't played every game.

public and private are both the same lobies just one type(public) anyone can join if they look under custom playlist/ private lobbies are for only people you invite. and yes any settings you have set for the lobby everyone must abide by your rules.

LMAO OMFG I figured out what the cause was and its ridiculous, apparently it because of my Xbox privacy settings, I had set it so my "games played" was on private, and this some how magically made it that I couldn't make my games open to the public, hence
why my lobby where "locked" to Private Game only and couldn't change it, LMAO utterly bizarre!

So if anyone else has any issues with not being able to make your games searchable to the public know you know why!
