Are people still playing this game?

I just got a new Xbox one yesterday, since my console was stolen in april, and I started playing as soon as it finished installing. Anyway, I tried to get into a lot of matches, and it would just put me in a match by myself. I tried robbery expansion maps,
and main game maps, and I still, it's just myself. So, is the game dead or something?

Im thinking of buying Halo Wars again so im wondering if theres still a decent amount of people playing it, thanks.

There are routinely about 5000 plus people playing Halo Wars. That number has held steady for a long time. It actually seems to be increasing slightly. I think it's because it offers people the opportunity to compete on a seriously intellectual/strategic
level. It's not like a first person shooter that only tests the quality of your internet connection or the speed with which your fingers can press the keypad. Join us. If you like ruthless competition, you won't be disappointed.

I know I'm a little late, but I've been playing today and haven't had any problems finding matches that are practically full.

@Defy I stand corrected you're right ODST never had multiplayer which to me was good, btw A.C.3 the combat system sort of sucks.

Halo is so 2000 and late. That could be why I was playing with kids from a different continent today.

lol after halo3, bungie failed to make a better game. i remember the hype over Reach just to see a big disappointment so from now i'll wait and see before buying.

Of course there is people still playing this title, one game release is not going to wipe out one's player total to 0.
