Are new Microsoft Series X console boxes supposed to look like this?

Personally, when I received my new Xbox Series X console, the security seals looked like this. I don't think the box had been opened by anyone before. The seal in the first image looks a bit odd, but I don't think it has been tampered with. The seal in the second image looks much better than the first one, so you don't have to worry.

Thank you sir I appreciate it. I guess once I open it I for sure can tell because I have seen the inside of the boxes and there is NO WAY someone is putting one of these back in the box perfect and with no finger prints at least LOL

Xbox Series X will release Holiday 2020, given Xbox's track record of releasing new consoles, they've usually been around November.

It will have Blu-Ray.

With the Xbox One X, it uses checkerboarding to get 4K resolution, though it's not true 4K, it's what allows the One X to get to 4K,

With the Xbox Series X, it will use true native 4K, you may see that the Series X will look a little better at 4K than the One X at 4K.

It looks like you've purchased the Series S|X edition, which is for new generation consoles (Series S and Series X) and wouldn't be compatible with your Xbox One S.
