When I connect my Xbox wireless headphones to my PC with USB, are the headphones still draining the battery or would they work even if the battery was removed?

    Hello MLGMarek_cz,

Welcome to the Xbox Community Forum. Thank you for sharing your concern with us today and we hope that all is well. Let me see how I can assist you with this concern.

We’d like to know more about it in details so that we can provide a more accurate resolution for you.

To charge your Xbox Wireless Headset, connect it to your console using the USB-C cable provided with the headset. The headset’s charging port is located on the lower back of the right earcup. When the headset is not in use, 30 minutes of charging can provide up to 4 hours of battery life, and 3 hours of charging will completely recharge the headset (providing up to 15 hours of battery life, depending on usage).

Note The headset can be used while it’s charging, but you’ll need to purchase a longer USB-C cable than the one provided with the headset.

If you have trouble charging the headset, go to:

    Troubleshoot your Xbox Wireless Headset

We're looking forward to hearing from you. If there are any inquiries about our description or if there are any misconceptions, do reply to the post.

Hello can anyone tell me if you can use a Powered USB Hub (with its own Power Supply) on the front USB port of the Xbox Series X?

I understand that, I have since connected both of my 2 External Hard Drives to the 2 rear ports on the Console - both have their own power supply.

I have a 4 Port USB hub that is connected to the front USB port. There are 4 ports that make up the Hub, each with its own on/off switch. I do not have a power supply connected to this USB Hub at this time.

I have been able to use the new USB 4 Port Hub (which I have connected to the front USB port of my Xbox Series X) to power my Wireless Xbox Headphones Dongle, Charge Controllers, Charge My Wireless Xbox Headset, etc.,etc.,etc. Anyways looks like everything is fine now.

    USB ports as power source

They will not supply power wjen your console is OFF. The only devices that i know of that will supply power when its off is the Play and Charge Kit and the wireless head sets such as the 360 bluetooth

    Turtle Beach x12 problem

if you are using a controller with a cord attached either charging it or connecting it wired to the xbox then it could be the extra power coming through the headphone jack on the controller causing the sound so use a completely wireless controller to
    test.
