Are my gaming files saved in the cloud if I have a Microsoft Xbox account?

Please remember this isnt JUST an issue with xbox one backwards compatibility. The Ms Splosion Man saves dont work on my 360 console either. Why would save files that are physically present on both my HDD and the cloud, not be used when starting up the
game? Its like the game doesnt acknowledge that i have save files on my storage devices. Also, thr saves are connected to my zhalcyondays account, it says im the owner of the files. However with a game called The Splatters, there are no physical save files
and there is nothing on thr cloud for this game, however i did 100% play this maybe 6 months ago on my xbox one, so where have thise save files gone?

If it's atomatically saved on the cloud, why couldn't I find my save on the Cloud when I check MyCloud? I mean, shouldn't there be a file with the name of the game I saved on Cloud so that I can re-open it whenever I am playing my friends' Xbox Ones connected
to my Xbox Live account?

If you originally had the save file on your Xbox 360 and you transferred it over to your Xbox One via Save Cloud then you should still be able to go to your Xbox 360 and just take the save file off the Save Cloud and then put it back in to the Save Cloud
so it appears on your Xbox One again, if you started to play the Backwards Comp. game with a new save file on the Xbox One then it should hopefully (not completely sure) but it should hopefully still have been copied over to your Xbox 360 Account on the Save
Cloud and just take it off and put it back into the Save Cloud again. If its not there then I'm sorry, but there is then no possible way to recover your save file.
