    Are custom gamerpics turned off?


    I wanted to change my gamerpic for a while, so I tried for the first time after like 3 years and when I went on the Xbox accounts and went to Change my gamerpic, it only allowed the Xbox provided ones. I even created a brand-new account and I had the same
    issue. I've tried everything except putting a usb stick with a custom gamerpic in the Xbox. ( I don't have one so I don't want to buy a stick just for this). Ive watched a lot of different YouTube videos on how to change it and none of them work. What is wrong
    here?

    During the pandemic Microsoft turned off the option for uploading a new custom gamerpic. Too many people would be trying to upload gamerpics at the same time and there wouldn't be enough moderators to check over gamerpics.

    I thought they were already turned back on, if you still can't get them to work, try turning off your xbox, sign out and back in, and see if that might help. Otherwise, it could be another week or two (or more) could be needed before that functionality
    returns.

    You can add custom gamerpics via the Xbox Beta App that you can download either on your phone or PC if it's running windows 10.
