Are achievements obtained while offline lost?

I was playing Dark Souls emulated on my Xbox One. While playing, I obtained a few achievements while the game and Xbox Live was offline. I thought it would sync up and I would get credit for these once the internet connection was
re-established, however it's been a few days, and I'm still not getting credit for these. Are these achievements lost to me forever? Will the game never sync these with Xbox Live?

Question regarding UA Investigation process

@temhotabot # 2 is incorrect. I got all the achievements I obtained while offline during my investigation process.

You can play offline and save the data on that account. Any achievements obtained on a temp account would not be able to be transferred.

EDIT: for reference...my investigation took 22 days. (something i stressed about so giving a rough estimate)

 

Banned for no reason.

Some of your achievements obtained offline can only be obtained online, which means you cheated .

Case Closed.

 

They should pop eventually.

It can take some time.

Something to add, I was finally able to get some of them to pop by signing out of Xbox Live, then signing back in. I did full reboots of the Xbox and other steps, but I didn't notice more pop until I actually did a logout, then log back in. However, two
achievements still are not registering, even though they did pop while I was playing the game; Prayer of a Maiden and Bond of a Pyromancer. They popped while I was playing, but they are still not listed as unlocked in my achievements list. Maybe these two
are bugged?

Please check out our achievement troubleshooting guide for steps that may help. Please keep in mind achievements can sometimes take up to 72 hours to fully unlock after you earn them.



Additionally, we always recommend being connected to Xbox Live if possible when earning a lot of achievements. If you were playing on your account without an Internet connection to Xbox Live, it can sometimes cause issues with unlocking
achievements such as what you're seeing.

 

I apologize to bump such an old thread, but in case anyone else is having this issue, I wanted to say that my achievements finally showed up. It has apparently taken about a month, but it did finally happen. I guess patience really is the key here.
